Artisans Art Gallery
Affordable Contemporary Fine Art

Voted Best Art Gallery in Marin for 2006 and 2007, Artisans is one of Northern Californiašs oldest, at age 30, and most innovative nonprofit art galleries. As an affordable, contemporary art gallery, Artisans boasts work of both emerging and internationally-exhibited artists with a collection that includes: oil, gouache, monoprints, pastel, ink, charcoal, photography, ceramics, sculpture, art glass, textile, woodblock and jewelry. Artisans portfolios can be viewed on the gallery website.

Artisans educational component offers local emerging artists the opportunity to work with and learn from established artist members as well as to receive feedback /on their work. Artisans offers classes and educational events to the public, sponsors national juried competitions, and hosts monthly receptions for the public to meet local artists and view new work.

RENT-TO-OWN
Our rent-to-own option is an excellent way for private collectors and businesses to furnish a space with original artwork. Whether you rent one piece or an entire exhibit, 90% of the rental fee is credited toward the purchase price.

Rising Stars
"Rising Stars", Artisans' 17th annual high school show is an amazing event of community, bringing together the best art from Marin's 19 high schools. The gallery will be packed with some of the best and brightest art from these up and comers. These are painters, printmakers, photographers, sculptors, potters, and digital artists that, in a few years time, will leap onto the national art scene. Donna Seager of the Donna Seager Gallery, Daphne Ahlenius a famous potter and Beth Hartman, a sculptor and 3D fiber artist, will jury the show.
